French Vocabulary: Past Participles of Être Verbs

English to French audio flashcards from www.ielanguages.com

Use the Next button to advance through the flashcards. Some of these past participles are regular while others are irregular - but all 17 of them use être as the auxiliary verb in the passé composé (as long as there is no direct object). The participle must agree in gender and number with the subject. Add -e for feminine and -s for plurals, but remember that this does not change the pronunciation except for the participle of mourir. I have given the past participles in English, though quite often the passé composé is translated by the simple past in English.
