In Sweden you start school when you are either 6 or 7 years old. And before that you can go one or two years in pre-school, which I did then, where you mostly play and do different activities. After than you go three years in Primary School, then three years in Middle School, until grade 6. And then it’s High School (secondary school) during three years, and that’s until you are 15 years old I guess. That’s the compulsory school in Sweden. Then, almost everybody goes to upper secondary school (High School) and it’s during High School that you can choose focus, if you want to study more science, humanities, languages etc., or perhaps a practical education as well.
