YAY! I forgot to mention the crazy Kraft Mac & Cheese crackers I found. I thought you would find them amusing, given your love for Macaroni and Cheese.
Miss you too. Glad you liked the goodies!!
Also too, I can’t take credit for the post card; that was all Mejdu.
See you in July!!

I can’t understand how you can miss Kraft dinner’s !!! I have tons in the cupboards that stay untouched for months… but I guess this is one of the mysteries of the expat experience. You know what product I miss from France?… Dannettes!

This is a great care package !
I have an American Friend who has in her kitchen everything I’d like someone to send me to France : cheerios for the kids (and real cheerios, with oatmeal), the instant oatmeal with apple & cinamonn, the Mac&Cheese of course, the Golden Fish, etc…I think I have to call some friend in the US today !! And I will definitely post the list of my favorite US goodies.
I’d love to be in a Target store just right now !!

I created this blog in September 2006 when I moved to France from Michigan to teach English. Many of the earlier posts are about my personal life in France, dealing with culture shock, traveling in Europe and becoming fluent in French. In January 2010, I started focusing more on teaching and learning languages in general. In July 2011, I relocated to Australia to start my PhD in Applied Linguistics. Although I am no longer living in France, my research is on foreign language pedagogy and I teach French at the university so these themes appear most often on the blog. I also continue to post about traveling (though now my trips are usually in Australia) and being an American abroad.
